A special to the Times-Journal from Marshalltown, Ia., states that Charles Knapp, an inmate at the Soldiers’ Home, sent there from Dubuque, has been adjudged insane and sent to the asylum at Independence. Knapp was sent from Dubuque about sixteen years ago and is said to have resided in the country near the Monastery, but nothing more is known of him or his family here.
