Mrs. Bridget Kane, one of the oldest residents of Dubuque County, died Monday morning at 7 o’clock at the residence of her son, John Kane, 781 Southern Avenue, aged 84 years. The deceased was a native of the County, Down, Ireland, coming to this city sixty years ago, and has resided in Dubuque and vicinity ever since. She is survived by two son, John and Michael, both of this city.

The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 8 o’clock to the Cathedral and the burial will be at the monastery.
