ACCIDENT AT KEY WEST

Mr. John Christman and wife, who reside near Key West, were in that city last Saturday. They drove in a buggy, and while Mrs. Christman was sitting in the buggy in front of a store in which Mr. Christman had entered a man came along on horseback rattling some chains. The horse took fright and rearing suddenly capsized the buggy breaking the canopy top and throwing Mrs. Christman out but not injuring her seriously. The vehicle was righted and Mr. and Mrs. Christman rattled, after they had driven a short distance Mrs. Christman raised her parasol, which frightened the horse, and plunging forward Mr. Christman was thrown out alighting on his head. He attended a very serious scalp wound and it is believed fracturing the skull. It is not however, considered dangerous, Mrs. Christmas was not injured.
