Mrs. Minnie Miller, 54, wife of Ray G. Miller, 1201 W. Fifth Street, died at Finley Hospital at 6:15 Friday evening. Mrs. Miller had been ill for two weeks, but had been on the road to recovery when she was stricken suddenly.

The body is at the Haudenshield Funeral Home, 2170 Central Avenue, where funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Merle M. Harris of Center Grove will officiate and burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller was born in Dubuque on Sept. 16, 1890, and had lived here all her life. Prior to her marriage she was an employee of the Northwestern Telephone Company with which her husband had been associated for 35 years.

Survivors are her husband, one son John Miller, of Cedar Rapids, her mother, Mrs. Anna Long, Dubuque; one sister, Miss Elsie Weigel, Dubuque; and one granddaughter, Patricia Ann Miller of Cedar Rapids; she was preceded in death by her father.
