Final Rites Today
For Walter Karakel

Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. for Walter Karakel, 77, longtime Arnolds Park resident, who died Tuesday at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

The rites will be conducted at the Harpole Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Baiotto, pastor of Friends church, officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery at Primghar.

He is survived by: two brothers, Percy of Arnolds Park and Peter of Williams, Iowa; two sisters; and four step-sons, Wesley Manley of St. Charles, Minn., Douglas Manley of Tacoma, Wash., Russell Manley of Arnolds Park, and James Manley of Rowena, S. D.
