Services for Marjorie Elaine (Baker) Titterington, 66, Arnolds Park, were 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 19, 1989, at Turner Funeral Home, Spirit Lake. Rev. Henrietta Klarenbeck officiated. Organist was Mary Lou Ayres and vocalist was Robert Cosens. He sang "Nearer My God to Thee" and "How Great Thou Art."

Mrs. Titterington died Thursday, June 15 at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Spirit Lake. She was born May 19, 1923 at Montgomery to John and Maude Baker. She attended Spirit Lake schools and graduated from the North Superior Consolidated Schools. She married Earl Harlow Titterington Nov. 2, 1942 at Jackson, Minn, and worked for 28 years at the University Hospital, Iowa City in the urology department. She lived in Arnolds Park until 1950, West Liberty until 1985, and in Muscatine with her daughter until 1988 when she moved to Arnolds Park. She enjoyed arts and crafts.

Survivors include her daughter Judith and son-in-law Robert Jones, Minneapolis, Minn.; three sisters, Deloras (Mrs. Kenneth Gilmore), Spirit Lake, Ruth (Mrs. Ronald Coleman), Arnolds Park, Bonnie (Mrs. Jack Bushaw), Ogden, Utah; one brother, John Baker, Madison, Wis.; 27 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one infant son. Special graveside services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 20. Burial was in Oakridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Turner Funeral home, Spirit Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
