Earl Titterington of West Liberty, Iowa and formerly of Arnolds Park, died at his home Friday, April 16, following a heart attack. He was 55 years old.
Earl Titterington was born Feb. 17, 1921, at Lake Park, Iowa to Clarence and Elizabeth Lenz Titterington. He married Marjorie Elaine Baker on Nov. 2, 1942, at Jackson, Minn. They resided in Russell, Kansas and Arnolds Park, Iowa before moving to West Liberty. He was employed in the Transportation and Security Department at the University of Iowa.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Judith) Jones, Muscatine; two brothers, Daryll, Chamberlain , S.D. and Dallas, Los Banos, California; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Sally);Mann, Arnolds Park, Mrs. James (Eloise) Ferguson, Iowa City and Mrs. David (Joyce) Sellers, Norfolk, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and infant son.
Services were held Monday, April 19, at the Snider Funeral Home at West Liberty with the Rev. Dick Watkins officiating. Interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
