Services for Ellen Kay Lenz, 23, of Garvin, Mn., were held on Sunday, Sept. 4,1983, at 2 p.m. at the Butson-Jacobson Funeral Home in Tracy, Mn. Burial was in the Hoiland Cemetery near Garvin.

She died Thursday at the Tracy Municipal Hospital.

She was born on May 1, 1960, in Spirit Lake, to James and Barbara Ann (Kania) Lenz. She lived at Lake Park for seven years, then moved to Sturgeon Lake for two years and then moved to Russell. She graduated from Russell High School in 1978 and Willmar Vocational-Technical Institute in 1982. She lived in Willmar until March when she moved to Garvin.

Survivors include her parents; two brothers, A. Dean Lenz of Russell and Lester Lenz of Tracy; and paternal grandfather, Adam Lenz of Lake Park.

She was preceded in death by three grandparents.
