Well Known Park Woman Died Tuesday

MRS. M. H. TITTERINGTON, 73, PASSED AWAY AFTER TWO WEEK'S ILLINESS

Mrs. M. H. Titterington, 73, a resident of Arnolds Park since 1935 and of the county since 1912, died at her home on Tuesday morning after an illness of about two weeks. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Congregational church in Milford.

During the forepart of her residence there. Mrs. Titterington aided, her husband in management of some of the Camp Fire cottage. Since his death several years ago, she had resided in her own little home or visited with her children.

Miss Minnie Fellows was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Fellows of Kewanee, 111., and was married to M. H. Titterington there Dec. 14, 1887. He then lived in Edgington, 111. Until October, 1888, they lived in Illinois and then moved to Coon Rapids, Iowa, where they lived until 1900. The family then moved to Audubon county and later to Dickinson in 1912. They farmed what is known as the Higgins ranch and later moved to the Lamb place west of Milford to operate a dairy.

Their golden wedding anniversary was celebrated at their home here with a family gathering, Dec. 14, 1937. All but one of their eight children survive, Everett, who was killed in an automobile accident in Detroit in 1926. The others are: Mrs. George Froendt of Arnolds Park; Mrs. B. A. Boers, .Milford; Ernest of Rock Rapids; Verne of Terrace Park; Mrs. Clint Olson of Long Beach, Cal. Mrs. A.E. Ballew San Francisco, Cal. and Harlow of near Arnolds Park. There. are a number of grandchildren, a number of whom are in the service.

A grandson, Everett Titterington was killed in action at Pearl Harbor
