Irene Anna Waterhouse

Irene Anna Waterhouse, 79, of Mediapolis, died Tuesday, May 27, 1997, at her home.

Born Jan. 24, 1918, in Kingston, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Lena Rice Tee. On Oct. 15, 1938, she married Robert E. (Bob) Waterhouse in Burlington.

Mrs. Waterhouse enjoyed her garden, yardwork and helping with fieldwork.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Donna Martin of Sperry; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Friends may call as desire on Thursday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Waterhouse will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Eads Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Henry County Hospice.
