Manasseh Edwards, 73 years old, one of Burlington’s best known citizens, and father of J. L. Edwards, president of the Merchants National bank of that city, was found dead beside the Burlington railroad tracks, six miles south of Burlington. In a state of mental aberration he had wandered away from home and had met his death through exposure.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Oct. 4, 1839 and died April 8,1913. He is buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
