Mrs. Wanda E. Campbell, 90, formerly of rural Burlington, died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Bickford Cottage, where she resided for the past 2 ½ years.

Born February 28, 1929 in Cotter, IA, she was the daughter of Parn and Allie (Martin) Hillyard. She married Ronald W. Campbell on February 6, 1948 in Canton, MO. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2011.

Wanda graduated from Huron High School.

She was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church.

She was a farm wife.

Wanda had many hobbies including gardening, baking, sewing, and canning. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include three daughters, Connie (Wayne) Beckman of New London, IA, Sandy (Rick) McLaughlin of Mediapolis, IA and Rhonda Ferrill of Burlington; son, Tim (Paula) Campbell of Burlington; thirteen grandchildren, Chandler (Joshua) Ortiz, Wayco Beckman, Cody (Kara) Beckman, Jeremy (Amy Jo) McLaughlin, Kari (Brian) Wright, Amy (Heath) Timmerman, Ron Ferrill, Megan Woodard (Ben Winke), Connie (Brian) Wiley, Kory (Samantha) Krenz, Heather Pontzius, and Travis Campbell; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Hartzell (Dorothy) Hillyard of Burlington; a sister Norma Massner of Mediapolis, IA, and two sisters-in-law, Thelma Hillyard of Mediapolis, IA and Virginia Hillyard of Winfield, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Daniel, three brothers, and seven sisters.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
