Miss Dorothea Wemhoener, wife of Herman A. Wemhoener, 1204 South Fourteenth street, died yesterday afternoon at her home, following a brief illness.
She was born December 12, 1859, a native of Germany, and came to Burlington with her parents when ten years old. She married May 1, 1881.
Surviving Mrs. Wemhoener are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Schrey, of San Bernardino, Calif.; one son, Carl Henry Wemhoener, and five grandchildren.
The deceased was a member of the St Luke's Evangelical church and belonged to the Ladies' Aid Society.
Private funeral services will be held from the home, Monday morning at 10 o'clock, followed by burial in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
