Funeral services for J. Martin Shanklin, 19, a Burlington native who died Thursday, July 22, from injuries received in a automobile mishap July 16, will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Sheagren funeral home in Burlington.

Mr. Melvin Norton will officiate and interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Burlington.

The family moved from Burlington to Destin, Fla. in December.

Mr. Shanklin, was born in Burlington Nov. 6, 1951, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shanklin and was married in Burlington Nov. 20, 1969, to Robinette Bailey. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Surviving: The wife; one daughter, Jamie Lynn; the parents, two sisters, Bekki and Heidi; one brother, George all of Destin, Fla., and one grandmother, Mrs. Robert Shanklin, Burlington.
