FUNERAL FOR ERLENE L. LEE

Erlene L. Lee, 89, of Mediapolis, Iowa, formerly of Burlington died Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.
Born March 7, 1917, near Flora, Ill. she was the daughter of Floyd and Flossie Marshall Baity. On March 21, 1944, she married Robert E. Lee in Burlington. He died Feb. 15, 1965.
She worked at IRC and was a in-home caregiver. She was a member of Mediapolis First United Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed card making and sending birds to people.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Rhum of Mediapolis; one son, Ron Wilkerson of Sioux City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and one sister Audrey Bower of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three brothers.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lee will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Brad Hansen officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.
Memorials have been established for Middletown and Mediapolis Presbyterian Churches.
