The Burlington Hawk-Eye

Mr. Alfred Albin Lutenegger, 45, a machinist employed at the Burlington railroad shops here 25 years, died Monday night (September 16, 1963) in Mercy hospital after an extended illness. He lived at 505 Swan in West Burlington.

Mr. Lutenegger was born in Burlington on September 23, 1917, the son of Albin and Josephine Kozurek Lutenegger, and was married to Virginia Louise Senn in West Burlington on November 3, 1939. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Mary Catholic church, the Railroad Veterans, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife; two children, Cecelia and Alan, both at home; a brother, Walter, of Burlington; a sister, Mrs. Edmund Molyneaux, of Davenport; his mother, of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. His father, a sister and an infant child are dead.

Services will be at St. Mary's Catholic church, West Burlington, at a time to be announced. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at Prugh's.
