Mrs. Mary E. Stodt, 65, Washington Road, West Burlington, died in Burlington Medical Center at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 (1984).

She was born November 14, 1918, to William E. and Clara Patzner Seipel, at Dunlap, Illinois, where she married Leo Stodt on February 7, 1948.

Mrs. Stodt was property disposal officer at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. She was a member of St. Mary Church.

Surviving: The husband; two sons, John Allan, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Richard Wayne, Denver, Colorado; daughter Francine C. Stodt, Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, William Seipel, Gilbert, Arizona, and Floyd Seipel, Peoria, Illinois; and three sisters, Marcella Vogelsang, Forest Park, Illinois, and Catherine Swadley and Jean McClure, both of Peoria.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Church, the Reverend Louis Mulligan; St. Mary Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at Lunning Chapel at 7 p.m. Friday.
