Mrs. Louise Marie Burgus, 70. [2024 Gnahn, died Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Burlington hospital following an extended illness.

She was born December 28, 1883, at Latty, the daughter of Fred and Anna Wischmeier Dreckmeier. November 27, 1907, she married Henry E. Burgus. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran church, the Ladies Aid society and Lydia Bible class of the church. She was an honorary member at Women of the Moose.

Surviving are five children, Martin of Sperry, Edward of Evanston, Illinois, Mrs. Marie Hudson of Yarmouth, Mrs. Ethel Dodge of Burlington; 12 grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters, Edward, William and Anna Dreckmeier and Mrs. Roy Steffner, all of Sperry, Mrs. Louis Burgus of Cedar Rapids, Fred Dreckmeier of Burlington, and a number of nieces and nephews. Her husband and a sister are dead.

Services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Prugh's chapel. The, Reverend M. E . Lehmann will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
