Mrs. Dorothy E. Behne, 71, 1924 Vogt, died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 19, at Memorial hospital.

She was born September 25, 1901, in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Jacob and Bertha Behtke Schoelkopf. She married Walter Behne on July 8, 1925, in Burlington. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ.

Surviving; the husband; one daughter, Mrs. Marian Massey, Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Amanda Smith, Warrentown, Oregon, one brother Otto Schoelkopf; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Lunning Chapel, Reverend Donald Klohr; Aspen Grove cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the First United Church of Christ.
