RICHARD E. HERMANN

Richard E. Hermann, 61, of 1914 Summer, died Friday, June 30, at Burlington Medical Center, after being stricken while at work.
The son of Edward and Margaret Eggleston Hermann. He was born April 1, 1917, in Burlington. He married Dorothy Rossiter on Oct. 29, 1944; she died in 1975. He married Juanita Agnew at Burlington, April 2, 1977.
He was district sales manager for Iowa Southern Utilities, was a member of Grace United Methodist church and was a World War II veteran. served as Exulted Ruler of Elks, and was a member of Burlington Baseball Assoc., VFW, American Legion, 40 & S.Eagles, Legion Drum and Bugle Corps, Kiwanis and Burlington Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving: the wife; two sons, one daughter, three stepchildren; one sister, one grandson.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sheagrens funeral home, Rev. Laurence Garett. Military rites at Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established to Grace United Methodist church.
