Diana Jane Wagner, 69, of Burlington, died at 8:15 PM Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born December 4, 1945, in Morning Sun, she was the daughter of Robert and Marie Maxine Christner Delzell. She married Hilbert Wagner in Burlington. He died in 1992. Diana worked as a homemaker. She attended Morning Sun United Methodist Church. She was very creative and enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, and creating plastic canvas works. She loved her dolls and watching movies, especially John Wayne movies. Survivors include one son, Lanny Allen of Anamosa; two daughters, Becky Bernhart of Burlington and Kristine Connie of Raritan, IL; 4 grandchildren; three brothers, Jerry Delzell of Mediapolis, Paul Delzell of Fulton, IL, and Raymond Delzell of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one child. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Thielen Crematory. The memorial service for Mrs. Wagner will be 3:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2015, at the American Legion Hall, 22 W Division Street, Morning Sun. A memorial has been established.
