Mrs. Mary D. Alderson, 81, of 110 Greenbriar, died at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Burlington Medical Center.

She was born August 17, 1895, at Centralia, Missouri, daughter of Robert A. and Luella McLane Dunbar. She married George Alderson February 18, 1912, at Hallsville; he died October 31, 1966.

Surviving: Three sons, J. R. and Dwight, both of Anaheim, California, and Vernon, Burlington; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Marshall, Danville, Mrs. Ruth Giffin, New London, and Mrs. Janet Hocking and Mrs. Shirley Huntington, both of Burlington; [a] sister, Mrs. Iva Westbrook, Columbia, Missouri; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Lunning Chapel, Reverend Claire Westby; Memorial Park cemetery.
