George C. Alderson, 76, of 525 South Gertrude, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday at Klein hospital.

He was born April 28, 1890, in Benton City, Missouri, the son of Joseph and Minnie Cary Alderson. February 18, 1912, he married Mary Dunbar in Centralia, Missouri. He was employed at the IAAP. He was a member of the Mediapolis Baptist church.

Surviving: The wife; four daughters, Mrs. Helen Marshall of Route 2, Mrs. Ruth Giffin, Mrs. Janet Rose Hocking and Mrs. Shirley Huntington of Burlington; three sons, Vernon of Burlington, and J. R. and Dwight of Anaheim, California; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Hanson of Hubbard; 16 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Services: Thursday 2 p.m., Giles chapel, Reverend Howard Johnson; Memorial Park cemetery.
