Born July 28, 1925, in Adrian, Ill., she was the daughter of Edward and Sadie Mae Willson Harris.
Mrs. Barclay was a nurse's aide and owner and manager of Little Bob's Restaurant and Van's Maid Rite. She also worked at the glove factory and was a spray painter at the basket factory.
She was of the Protestant faith. She enjoyed housekeeping and gardening, and playing the Spanish guitar at one time. She enjoyed using a kiln, doing ceramics and fishing.
Survivors include one son, Robert Barclay of Burlington; two daughters, Cherie Dailey of Oregon and Mary Dickenson of California; one sister, Lila Stroller of Colorado; two brothers, Jack Harris of Canby, Calif., and Frank Harris of the Philippines; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and one sister.
No formal visitation is planned.
The memorial service for Mrs. Barclay will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Klein Center Chapel, with the Rev. Tyrone Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Alzheimer's Research.
Prugh Funeral Service in Burlington is in charge of arrangements.
