New London (IA) -- Sheila LaVon Bauman, 5-year-old daughter of Leonard J. and Helen LaVon Horn Bauman, died October 20 (1950), at 7 a.m. at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Horn, who live 2 miles east of Trinity church.

The little girl was born at Burlington on March 31, 1945. Although not in robust health, she had started in to school this fall, and attended for the first 5 weeks of the term.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Horn, of Mt. Union, and Mr. and Mrs. Antone Bauman, of West Burlington.

Services will be held at the Elliott Chapel, New London, at 2 p.m. Sunday. Officiating will be Reverend Everett K. Burham, pastor of the Yarmouth Methodist church. Burial will be In Trinity cemetery, 6 miles north of New London.
