Crawfordsville (IA) -- Mrs. Earl Walker, 63, died Thursday evening (August 6, 1964) at her home in Crawfordsville.

The former Alice Frances Kissinger, she was born May 2, 1901, in Mediapolis, the daughter of Henry and Martha Huffman Kissinger. The family lived for some time in the Morning Sun vicinity. On February 7, 1920, she married Earl Walker at Wapello. They had farmed northeast of Crawfordsville for 36 years. She was a member of the Methodist church, the WSCS, Square Circle club and was active in youth work.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Lowe of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Lester Crouch of New London and Mrs. Fred Stephenson of Burlington; three brothers, Harold of Morning Sun, Curtis of Burlington and Paul of Tucson and three grandchildren.

Services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in [the] Crawfordsville Methodist church. The Reverend Thomas Hotle will officiate. Burial will be in Crawfordsville cemetery. The body is at Jones funeral home, Washington, Iowa.
