Mediapolis (IA) -- [The] Funeral was held this afternoon at the Mediapolis United Methodist Church for Forrest G. Walker, 80, who died at his home Friday, June 19. Burial was in Kossuth Cemetery. Memorials have been established at Fry Chapel for the Mediapolis United Methodist Church and the Heart Fund.

He was born March 16, 1901, at Kossuth to George and Matilda Wischmeier Walker. He married Nellie Logan April 20, 1926, in Mediapolis. Mr. Walker, a retired farmer and a former director of Mediapolis Mutual Telephone Company and Kossuth Cemetery Association, was a member of the Mediapolis United Methodist Church.

Surviving: his wife; two sisters, Viola Jackson, Kalona, and Ethel McDonald, New London.
