Mrs. Gladys Timmerman, 79, Mt. Pleasant, died at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, October 16 (1984), at Henry County Health Center.

She was born January 2, 1905, at Dallas City, Illinois, to Edward and Florence Weiss Zimmerman. She married Arnold F. Timmerman August 27, 1928, at Monmouth, Illinois; He died January 21, 1984.

Surviving: Daughter Beverly Jennings, Mt. Pleasant; two stepdaughters, Beulah Shaw and Tim Hollingsworth, both of Mt. Pleasant; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Beatty Funeral Home, the Reverend George White; Forest Home Cemetery. A memorial has been established to First United Methodist Church.
