Mt. Pleasant (IA) -- Services for Arnold F. Timmerman, 90, of 1205 E. Washington, who died Saturday, January 21 (1984), will be held at the Beatty Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Reverend George White officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Henry County Ambulance Equipment Fund.

He was born October 13, 1893, in Des Moines County, to Henry C. and Nettie Jones Timmerman. He married Gladys Zimmerman August 27, 1928, in Monmouth, Illinois. Mr. Timmerman was a retired farmer and trucker, and a former justice of the peace.

Surviving: The wife; three daughters, Beulah Shaw, Leone Hollingsworth, and Beverly Jennings, all of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Selma Pierce, Wever, and Bertha Henneman, Davenport; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
