Emil H. Lieb, 80, of 3000 Cliff Road, died at 3:20 a.m. Sunday, December 21, at his home.

Born December 25, 1905, in Burlington, he was the son of Joe and Daise Lieb. He married his wife, Joyce, November 4, 1951, in Burlington.

Mr. Lieb was an Army veteran. He had been a custodian at the Palace Theater. He was retired. He was of the Protestant faith.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce; three daughters, Mrs. Carla Stailey, Oscoda, Michigan, Mrs. Carol Hollister, Salem, and Mrs. Rosemarie Lafferty, Burlington; one son, Emil Lieb Jr., Middletown; one brother, Joe Lieb, Golden, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Prugh's Chapel.

Services for Mr. Lieb will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel with Allen Pygott officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Mr. Emil Lieb.
