Erma H. Badley, 72, 906½ Maple, died Saturday at 4 p.m. in Mercy hospital after a brief illness.

The former Erma Fouts, she was born September 20, 1892, in Bluff City, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer and Iva Osborn Fouts.

She married Ralph Badley in 1936 at Kahoka, Missouri.

Survivors include a son, Virgil Watkins of Burlington; a daughter, Mrs. Isal Baxter of Burlington; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Tom Fouts of Beardstown, Illinois, Russel and Cecil Fouts of Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Crooks of Galesburg, Illinois, and Mrs. John Wells, Burlington.

Her husband, parents, and a brother are dead.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Prugh Chapel with the Reverend Horace Ireland officiating. Burial will be In Memorial park cemetery. The family will receive friends in Prugh's Chapel Monday evening from 7:30 to 9 o'clock.
