Beverlee Rose Knopp, 70, of 1507 S. Central Ave., Burlington, died at 820 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 1996, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Nov. 8, 1926, in Henrietta, Mo., she was the daughter of William Henry and Rosa Jane Stanton Cooper. On Aug. 31, 1946, she married John Fred Knopp in Richmond, Mo.
Mrs. Knopp worked at Burlington Medical Center for 21 years. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Clara Johnson, Linda Baker, Rita Hermann and Johna Knopp, all of Burlington, and Judith Fogle of Udall, Kan.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Stanton Cooper of Richmond, Mo.; one sister, Imogene Hall of Henrietta, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will begin after 8 a.m. Monday at Hass Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Knopp will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hass Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary L. Chapman of Zion United Church of Christ officiating. The body will be cremated after the funeral. Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
