Ronald R. Lemon, 52, of 1322 S. 10th Street, Burlington, died Saturday, December 15, 1990, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sheagren Funeral Home, Burlington. Dr. Robert Dodder and Rev. Bryan Crouser will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established for the American Heart and Stroke Association.

Ronald Raymond Lemon was born December 23, 1937 in Burlington, the son of Ferrell and Alberta (Murphy) Lemon. He married Ruth Stone on July 15, 1961 in Des Moines. He was an Army veteran, serving three years in Okinawa.

He was a cell operator at J.J. Case Company, Burlington. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Burlington.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth; one daughter, Theresa Housman of Chariton; three sons, Randall Lemon and Michael Lemon, both of Fort Myers, FL, and Gary Lemon of Burlington; one brother, Richard Lemon of New York City, NY; his step-mother, Frances Lemon of Burlington; one half-sister, Ann Ness of Burlington; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
