Son of Joel A. and Anna (Wetzel) Frey. He married Mary A. Blum on June 16, 1930 in Kahoka, MO. He was a barber and a veteran of WW1. Surviving: his wife, four brothers, Newton of Seaton, IL., Otto of Washington, IA., Milton of Wheeling, IL., Roy of Mediapolis, IA.; four sisters, Ruth Richard and Hattie Frey both of Farfield, IA., Freda Rich of Winfield and Katheryn Nicholson of Richmond. Giles-Elliot Funeral Home. Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
