Lucile Goodman, 95, of Burlington, died at 3:45 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2003, at Great River Medical Center's Klein Center.

Born March 9, 1908, in Milan, Mo., she was the daughter of Sherman and Effie Ann Huffman Shultz. On August 10, 1930, she married Merwynn Perkins Goodman in Chillicothe, Mo. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of First United Methodist and T.T.T. Boating. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, crocheting, needlepoint and knitting.

Survivors include one sister, Helen Tillman of Missouri; two grandsons Gregory and Todd Goodman; three great-grand-children, Nicole, Christopher and Tyler Goodman; one daughter-in-law, Greta Goodman, of Burlington and three nieces.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son and two brothers.

A private family graveside service was held in Aspen Grove Cemetery Friday afternoon November 21, 2003 at 3:00 p.m.
Pastor JudyAnn Morse officiated.

A memorial has been established for Great River Hospice.
