Anna Mae Harris died Friday, October 24, 2003 at 2108 S.16th Street. She was born July 17, 1923 at Glenn Allen, Missouri,the daughter of Elzie and Myrtle Baker Johnson. She worked in the Burlington Medical Center Supply for 20 years.

She enjoyed crafts, flowers, yard work and was a member of the Marine Corps League Auxillary.

Survivors include one son Leon Harris of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, three daughers, Catherine (Bob) Russell of Lomax, Illinois, Beatrice (Jay) Blacksmith of Carthage, Illinois and Margaret Shepherd of Grinnell, Iowa. Special friend Harry Dean Jr. of Burlington. Two brothers, Albert Johnson of St.Louis, Missouri and Leonard Johnson of Detroit, Michigan. Twenty-one grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, four brothers, Clarence, Harold, J.W.,and Walter Johnson.

Memorial Services will be held at the Salvation Army, 217 South 3rd St. Burlington, Iowa Saturday, November 1, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Captain Allen Otto will officiate.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Salvation Army
