Mr. Arthur R. Walker, 65, of Mediapolis, died Friday at 8:10 a.m. at Burlington hospital.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Walker, born at Mediapolis on December 7, 1897. He was married to Catherine D. Koenig on December 23, 1922.
Mr. Walker had operated a plumbing and heating business in Mediapolis since 1930. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Wilson of Mediapolis; one grandson, Ray Wilson of Mediapolis; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Bridges of Mediapolis; one brother, Hugh Walker of Muscatine; several nieces and nephews. One daughter, Betty Jane Walker, three brothers, and three sisters are dead.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. (CDT) at Fry Chapel with the Reverend Eldon Hayward officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth cemetery.
