Daniel "Danny" Keith O'Brien, 67, of West Burlington, died Friday, June 13, 2014 in his home.
Born on June 7, 1947 in Bemidji, Minnesota, he was the son of Raymond and Vivian (Bryant) O'Brien.
Dan worked in machine fabrication at General Electric for over 20 years. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed hunting, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include; one son, Tim (Tracie) O'Brien of Oquawka, IL; one daughter, Jessica O'Brien of Wapello; three grandchildren; two brothers, Tim (Mary) O'Brien of Swisher, IA and Raymond (Tammy) O'Brien of Dubuque, IA; two sisters, Sandra Voyles of Wapello and Patricia Blair of Mondovi, WI; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no formal funeral services for Mr. O'Brien. According to his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
