Laura A. Humpton, 75, of Burlington, died at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2003 at Middletown.

Born March 6, 1928, in Oakville, she was the daughter of Harry J. and Ida L. Conn Stoller. On May 23, 1948, she married Robert Richard Humpton in Burlington. He died June 24, 2000.

Mrs. Humpton was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Lois Kobs of Burlington, Mary Bailey of Middletown, and Susan Burgess of Shueyville; two sons, Jim Humpton of Kalona and Tom Humpton of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Esther Brown of Oakville and one brother, Roy Stoller of Lake George, Colorado.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.

Visitation will start at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Prugh's Chapel where the family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Humpton will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Hospice.
