Funeral of George A. Green.

The funeral services of George A. Green, who died at his home south of Yarmouth, January 21st (sic: 31st), were held from the Yarmouth Methodist church Friday forenoon , conducted by Reverend R. T. Richards. The interment was in Elmwood cemetery, near Morning Sun.

George A. Green, known by his friends at "Johnnie," was born near Cairo, Louisa county, Iowa, February 1, 1883. He was united in marriage to Emma Vandermark, February 3, 1904, and to this union five children were born as follows: Nellie, Mildred, Gladys, Cecil and Elsie. Besides the wife and children he leaves to mourn his death seven brothers and three sisters: Lew, of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; Robert, of Burlington, Iowa; Edd, of Orchard, Iowa; Emmett of La Plata, Missouri; Bailey, of Lambert, Montana; Fred, of Mediapolis, Iowa; Thomas, of Pella, Iowa; Mrs. E. E. Dayton and Mrs. E. C. Hasty, of Kalona, Iowa; and Miss Jennie Green, of Burlington, Iowa; and numerous other relatives. One brother, Frank, departed this life March 15, 1907. All were with him during his last illness except brother Bailey, of Montana.
