Rosie L. Laue

Rosie L. Laue, 73, of Route 2, died 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 27, 1987, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Feb. 23, 1914, in Tama Township, she was the daughter of Charley and Jennie Thomson Warth. She married Harley F. Laue, Feb. 27, 1939, in Burlington.

She was a housewife and a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church, the Friendly Neighbors Club, the Farm Bureau Women and the Ambitious Pall Club of the 4-H. She was a past 4-H leader.

Surviving are her husband, one son, Ronald E. Laue, Route 2; two daughters, Jean E. Stewart and Carol R. Roberts, both of Burlington; one brother, Fred Warth, Burlington; one sister, Ann Schoof, Burlington; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Prugh’s Chapel.

The service for Mrs. Laue will be 1 p.m. Friday at Bethany Lutheran Church with Dr. Martin E. Lehman officiating. Burial will be in North Walker Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for the North Walker Cemetery and Bethany Lutheran Church.
