Mrs. Myrtle Pogemiller, 83, of 1213 South Central, a patient at St. Francis Care center for several months, died there at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 23.

She was born May 4, 1891, in Des Moines county, the daughter of Henry and Nettie Jones Timmerman. She married Charles F. Pogemiller January 3, 1912. Mrs. Pogemiller was a Christian Scientist.

Surviving: The husband; one son, Homer E. Pogemiller, Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel M. Hand, Burlington; [sisters] Mrs. Orin (Selma) Pierce, Wever, and Mrs. Bertha Henneman, Davenport; a brother, A.F. Timmerman, Mt. Pleasant; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday, Prugh's chapel, Reverend George Thompson; Memorial Park cemetery.
