Charles F. Pogemiller, 85, 1213 South Central, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, December 7, in St. Francis Continuation Care Center.

He was born January 8, 1888, in Des Moines county, the son of William and Mary Cassabaum Pogemiller. He married Myrtle E. Timmerman January 3, 1912; she died October 23, 1974. He was a farmer and a Protestant.

Surviving: One son, Homer, Burlington; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Hand, Burlington; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Prugh's chapel, Reverend George Thompson; Memorial Park cemetery.
