Former Burlingtonian Dead

L. Theo. Flodin, a former resident of Burlington, but recently of Omaha, Nebraska, died at the latter city at 3 o[clock Monday afternoon, of a tumor on the kidney, after an illness of five months. Mr. Floden was born in Sweden and was fifty-seven years old at the time of his death. He resided in Burlington eighteen or twenty years and was engaged to stencil work and model and gun repairing and was an expert worker in iron and steel and had a shop on Jefferson street, north side, west of Sixth street; he was deacon of Walnut Street Baptist church, and kind husband and father and an exemplary citizen. He removed to Omaha from Burlington about five years ago. He leaves a wife and one son; a sister Mrs. Gregory, in New Bedford, Conn., Mrs. A. Bergstrom and Mrs. Moberg, and one in Burlington, Mrs. E. W. Helland, the latter of whom, attended him in his illness. The news of his death will be received with genuine sorrow by his many acquaintances and friends in this city.
