Rev. Patton Of Burlington, Dies

Several Fairfield residents will attend funeral services for the Rev. Lloyd Z. Patton, pastor of the First Christian church of Burlington, who died Thursday at Mercy hospital in Burlington.

Last rites will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in DSF at the First Christian church in Burlington. Presiding will be the Rev. Roy Ives, Ft. Madison, the Rev. David Stout, Eddyville, and Dr. Loren Lan, Des Moines. Burial will be at Colins.

Patton, 50, had been pastor of the Burlington church for ?5 years. He was a member of the state board of the Iowa Society of Christian Churches and served many civic and community organizations.

Surviving are his wife, three sons and two daughters, all of Burlington. Also surviving are his parents of Collins.
