Marvin W. Warth

Services for Marvin Walter Warth, 50, of 422 Columbia, who died in Veterans Hospital, Iowa City, Wednesday, June 3, will be held at Lunning Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Vern Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion.

Mr. Warth was the son of Walter W. and Lois Pugh Warth, and was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Burlington. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Korean conflict and was employed at Mitchell Engineering Co., Mt. Pleasant.

Surviving: Three sons, David, with the U. S. Navy in Japan, and Jeffrey and Marvin, Jr. , both of Burlington; two daughters, Sharon Thrasher of Arizona and Lois Warth, Noel, Mo.; his father, Burlington; three brothers, Donald and Roger, both of Bonaparte, and Melvin, Burlington; four sisters, Ruby Larson of Colorado, Mary Cox, Des Moines, Dorothy Helmick, Fairfield, and Frances Helmick, Burlington; five grandchildren.
