WALTER WILLIAM WARTH

Walter William Warth, 83, of 2101 S. 16th St., died at 7:25 a.m. Friday, June 30, 1989, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born March 2, 1906, in Roscoe he was the son of William and Minnie Schneider Warth. He married Lois Pugh. She died in 1970.

He was a farmer and had been employed with Burlington Produce before retiring.

Surviving are three sons, Donald Warth and Melvin Warth, both of Burlington, and Roger Warth, Temple, Texas; four daughters; Ruby Ferrington, Colorado, Mary Cox, Des Moines, Mrs. Dorothy (Wayne) Helmick, Fairfield, ad Mrs. Frances (Charles) Thomas, Burlington; one sister, Minnie Mohr, Kahoka, Mo. , 29 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Lunning Chapel.

The service for Mr. Warth will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Richard Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Burlington Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit.
