Mrs. Edna L. Bronston, 57 Summer St. Rd., died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Memorial hospital.
She was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Illinois, the daughter of Dr. J. T. and Geneva Maynard Snider. She married Layman Bronston in Mt. Pleasant May 9, 1952; he died Nov. 11, 1961. She was a schoolteacher in Burlington for 20 years, a mamber of First United Methodist church, American Letion [sic] Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary. She served as a Wave in World War II.
Surviving: Her mother, of Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Richard Harris, Burlington; and one brother, James T. Snider, Kewanee, Ill.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Lunning chapel, Rev. LeRoy Moore; Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Cancer Society.
