Mrs. Anna Walton

A former Burlington businesswoman, 91-year-old Mrs. Anna Watton of Lowell, died after an extended illness at 8:25 p.m. Sunday.

Anna Estella Folsom, daughter of Edward and Elizabeth McKinney Folsom, was born near Danville on May 22, 1871, and was married to Eugene Lee Watton at Mt. Pleasant on June 28, 1888.

Mrs. Watton taught at Howe's academy, Mt. Pleasant, and in the Burlington public schools

Watton Service

Services for Mrs. Anna Watton, 91, of Lowell, a former Burlington businesswoman who departed at 8:25 p.m. April 28, will be held at The Elliott Chapel in New London Wednesday at 2 p.m. (CST). The Rev. Wayne Williams will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove cemetery, southeast of Lowell. Friends may call at the chapel Tuesday afternoon and evening. Elliott chapel
