Arlene Walker, 89, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Lakeview Estates in Fond du Lac, WI. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. A church luncheon will be served starting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service. Burial will be at Resthaven Cemetery.

Arlene was born in Mediapolis, IA on September 2, 1923. She was a telephone operator at NW Bell Telephone and later worked in Day Care program's at Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Arlene was involved in card clubs, loved being an immaculate hostess in her home, and enjoyed decorating her house for the holidays.

She is survived by two sons, Tom (Julie) Walker of Fond du Lac, WI and Tim (Nancy) Walker of Laurens, IA; five grandchildren, Philip, Jacob, Cynthia, Andrew and Emily; one great-grandson, Felyx; brother, Gene (Ann) Ibbotson of Des Moines; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Carol) Walker of Terre Haute, IN; sister-in-law, Carol Ann Walker of New York; and several nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 7 p.m. Friday at McLaren's Chapel with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
